1. Acer Aspire One

The Aspire One mini laptop runs on Linux, not Windows. It is a competent compact laptop. It is light, small and has a screen size of 8.9 in. Unfortunately, the battery life is is only two hours.

The Acer Aspire One crams a lot into a very slim, very appealing package. It's very small and yet it finds room to house the same Intel Atom processor and a reasonably large 8.9-inch display that has a resolution of 1024 by 600 pixels. Retail - starts at $329. Picture: Acer Aspire One.

HP mini 210 is another master piece from HP which has introduced the HD screen in mini notebook. HP mini 210 has 10.1 inches screen, a processor of 1.6GHz Intel Atom N450, 1GB of memory and increased storage capacity of 160GB and 250GB. Surfing internet, playing music, working on a document and some normal task goes very smooth on HP mini 210. This notebook can be good for simple user or for the students. Browsing and working on different windows at the same time is more similar to working on desktop or any other full size laptop.
Mini Laptop
A mini laptop can be a great alternative if you do not want to spend a lot of money on mobile computing. A new generation of low cost, lightweight laptops are hitting the market by storm. Mini laptops, variously called mini-notebooks, ultrasmall laptops, subnotebooks, ultraportables and netbooks lack a lot of the bells and whistles that come automatically with standard laptops, to make a lite version that can fit in your hand and even purses. Unlike products that aimed at reducing size and cost, these mini machines have powerful processors, substantial memory and come with all the basic software, entertainment options and Internet most people need.
